Our Correspondence

Since May 2026, this campaign has written directly to more than two dozen federal, state, county, tribal, and company officials on behalf of the community, on the record, most with press or oversight bodies copied.

Below are the letters and emails we can verify were actually sent, with the date, recipient, and subject of each. Want to add your own voice? Use our contact-officials tool to send a letter of your own.

A note on what's shown here Every letter below is reproduced as it was actually sent. Home address and personal phone number have been redacted from the signature block for privacy; name, email, and the full text of every letter are unchanged. A small number of early letters (written in the first days after the Longview disaster) cite a Clean Air Act violation figure of "12 of the last 12 quarters" that was later corrected, after closer review of the source record, to 11 of the last 12 quarters, the figure used everywhere else on this site today. We're leaving those letters exactly as sent rather than editing history; the corrected figure is what governs the rest of the site.
Every letter on this page is written and sent by CSWAPT. Facts cited within them are drawn from our research archive.
